Attorney General Jack Conway

Attorney General Jack ConwayElected in November as Kentucky's Attorney General, Jack Conway won 61 percent of the vote. A Louisville native who resides there today with his wife, Elizabeth, Conway previously served Kentucky as legal counsel to the governor and Deputy Secretary of the Cabinet from 1995 to 2001. He was a candidate in the nation's closest congressional race in 2002. As a private attorney, he represented those who are unable to represent themselves and in 2006 won one of the largest civil verdicts ever tried in Jefferson Circuit Court.

Conway holds a bachelor of arts in public policy from Duke University and a Juris Doctorate cum laude from George Washington University. He graduated from St. Xavier High School where he was outstanding senior and a National Merit finalist.
