10 Days, 10 Ways Matt Bevin Lied to Kentucky: Temperament
FRANKFORT, KY -- Matt Bevin has spent his campaign proving exactly why Republicans called him an 'East Coast Con Man' and a 'Pathological Liar.' That's why each day for 10 days, the Kentucky Democratic Party is highlighting the top 10 reasons why Kentuckians cannot trust Bevin to be governor.
Today's reason: Bevin doesn't have the temperament to lead
"Matt Bevin has spent his campaign lying to Kentuckians and proving why even Republicans called him the 'East Coast Con Man,'" said David Bergstein of the Kentucky Democratic Party. "Whether Bevin is snapping and snarling at reporters, stubbornly refusing to answer questions or lashing out at voters, he's repeatedly demonstrated that he doesn't have the temperament to lead. And it's all just more proof why Kentuckians do not trust a 'Pathological Liar' like Bevin to be governor."
Just yesterday, Bevin had two temper-tantrums at two separate events. A video compilation of Bevin's most explosive outbursts is available here
And in case you missed them, here's reason 10 and reason 9 voters can't trust Bevin.
See for yourself:
Lexington Herald-Leader, Youngman: "Bevin is quick to anger, and that's never more true than when reporters are confronting him with fairly obvious inaccuracies or misstatements." [Lexington Herald-Leader, 6/12/15]
Courier-Journal, Gerth:  "Bevin’s epidermis is an onion skin.” [Courier-Journal, 10/23/15]
Lexington Herald-Leader, Youngman: Bevin Has Twice Stopped By the KDP to Complain About A Billboard. "That might help explain Bevin's ill-advised and jaw-dropping decision to show up at Kentucky Democratic Party headquarters on Friday to complain to the receptionist about the sign KDP has outside its building questioning Bevin's trustworthiness. It was Bevin's second trip to the headquarters to complain about the sign. He videotaped the first while standing on the side of the highway." [Lexington Herald=Leader, 9/29/15]
