About the Event
Take Back the Night Lexington will be held this year on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Memorial Hall Amphitheater on UK's campus. This march and rally seeks to end sexual violence in all forms, create a safer campus and community, and most importantly, support and empower survivors.
We are excited to invite students, faculty, staff, and ALL members of the Lexington community to join us for this special, powerful event organized by SPARC, the Violence Intervention & Prevention Center's peer activist group.
Actvities during this event will include: a march through both UK's campus and downtown Lexington, a chance to participate in our #ConsentCulture Pledge, a speak-out session to support survivors, and more!
Marches will begin at both the William T Young Library on UK's campus and the Fayette Circuit Courthouse and will meet up at the Memorial Hall Amphitheater.
Parking can be found on Main Street in several parking garages, as well as on the street. Additionally, there is a pay lot available next to the William T Young Library.
